Rationale

I made a list of reasons this site exists below.

This site exists for various reasons:

• Wanting to make an open-source and free compendium of mathematics resources that Australian teachers can Use to implement AC9 for explicit instruction lessons.
• Better support for maths.
• Wanting material that could quickly be converted into different formats with version control (instead of a super G-Drive with 20 years of duplicate worksheets).
• I had uninterrupted time to make material for students. (During a holiday!)
• Textbooks had terms of use and online subscriptions which made it difficult to figure out what was allowed and what wasn’t in terms of distributing to students/making resources/reusing between years, etc.
